What a relief! Cats have been getting used to their new space. Here they are catching some zzzz’s in my temporary bed.
My apologies for the light posting, but I’ve been up to my eyeballs in moving. I’m SOOOOOO looking forward to November 11th. I won’t be done (I’ve got a list of projects for the new house a mile long), but I will be “officially” moved and will be able to relax a bit and space out the work (and the expenses … yee gads!).
Now … off to buy some more stuff ;).
Weight Maven is written by Beth Mazur. Beth believes that obesity is more symptom than cause and that the real problem is our Western diet -- especially sugar, refined grains, and industrial oils. Beth writes about nutrition, ancestral health & food policy. And cats!

No worries about the drop in posting quantity or frequency! Everyone knows that moving is TIME CONSUMING, STRESSFUL and TIRING. In fact, childhood moving *traumas* partly explain why I’ve lived in the same house for 36 years! When I was a kid, my family moved a lot-first from state to state, and later from country to country. I always lost a few favorite possessions with every relocation (in addition to lost friends), so I decided as a teenager that I would avoid moving if I ever found a house of my own that I really liked. Thus…YAY!
I hope your relocation will be a smooth one (for your four-legged family members too!) and you will have many happy times together in your new digs.
Sending best wishes and warm thoughts for an uneventful transition (no lost toys!) and for many great new adventures!
