Physician and blogger Go Maleo recently commented on Facebook on our often mismatched priorities regarding diet and exercise:
It’s actually healthier to exercise and not lose weight then not exercise and lose weight. Fitness is the #1 decider of long term metabolic health.
Not sure which is going to be the bigger tragedy regarding public health in the late 20th/early 21st century: the cholesterol myth or the story that’s been told that exercise is largely about burning calories. Big mistake. Big. Huge.
