It’s Thanksgiving here in the US, so I wanted to send a quick note of thanks to you folks for reading, commenting, and emailing me this year … I greatly appreciate it!
I checked my stats today and it turns out that I am 88 posts shy of 1000 and 12K views shy of a half million … wow!! I’m not exactly the Little Engine That Could, but there is definitely something to be said about persistence ;).
If you’re celebrating, I hope you have a happy time with family and/or friends!
Weight Maven is written by Beth Mazur. Beth believes that obesity is more symptom than cause and that the real problem is our Western diet -- especially sugar, refined grains, and industrial oils. Beth writes about nutrition, ancestral health, & food policy. And cats!
No, thank *you*, Beth, for your marvelous corner of the web! As I’ve converged on a way of eating and moving that works for me, I spend less and less time on health blogs. But yours remains a mainstay because I think you’re perhaps the only blogger to discuss *all* aspects of WOE health: nutrition (who said what and does it make sense/is it supported), eating psychology, and food policy.
The Friday cats are adorable, but are you sure you’re not also a bloodhound person? I mean that in a good way!-you have the most amazing way of tracking down thought-provoking tidbits, ideas that challenge us to (re-)evaluate what we think we know about how our bodies and minds tick. Please keep it up, and Happy Thanksgiving!
