How’s the home cooking coming along, Beth? That CSA looks awesome. Hope you find some keeper recipes. I think of you from time to time when I cook in my kitchen. I tend to get a few favorite recipes, make them, then occasionally branch out some.
Good luck and I’ve had great success weight wise with cooking at home. Onward.
Love the napkin holder. Reminds me of Texas.

We used to subscribe to a wonderful CSA, Terry’s Berries, near Puyallup, WA. We got tons of wonderful veggies, herbs, raspberries (often frozen), apples, eggs and wonderful locally baked bread. We got recipes! Having those veggies in our fridge made me learn to cook vegetables in interesting ways for the first time and increased our vegetable and fruit consumption a lot. I especially loved having the CSA from fall - late spring. Now, we travel too much and it’s not very feasible, but I do miss the quality. And, I still use some of the recipes. Have fun with it. You’ll be cooking for sure!
Wonderful! I’ve been hitting up a local pick-your-own strawberry place quite a bit of late. I try and fill up on Strawberries this time of year, since real, fresh strawberries are SO GOOD, in comparison to the hard, flavorless, and ridiculously large things you usually get in supermarkets.
Enjoy!
I feel so ignorant.
What’s CSA?
CSA is community supported agriculture. You pay a sum up front, and then each week during the growing/harvesting season, you get whatever seasonal produce is available.
