Via John, this quote from C.S. Lewis is about religion, but I think it holds for obesity as well:
The problem is not simple and the answer is not going to be simple either.

Nice of you to keep us thinking. Thanks.
But that religion issue is now solved — gods are just concepts, anyone can believe anything they want, and as it is all just concepts, they cannot be wrong, it is all just meaningless. Right and wrong are just concepts, and do not apply to fiction; therefore these are invalid as properties of religions.
We all need to believe in something. There are better philosophies than others, but each concept must be evaluated singularly, not as groups of concepts as religions are, but that is another story.
As Vitamin C raises blood sugar, I am testing high vit C on myself to see if it has a effect on hunger. Any suggestions?
Re vitamin C, not so much, although Paul Jaminet is a fan, though I don’t recall him mentioning its connection with hunger.
