Many years ago, I first heard about the idea intuitive eating-It wasn’t called intuitive eating. It was more or less a philosophy that said “don’t diet. Your body knows what it needs.” I thought that it didn’t make sense; the body of a person who eats junk food every day “may” have a desire for nutritious food, but wouldn’t recognize it. “I’m tired of potato chips. I think I’ll eat some spinach.”
