I’ll have a longer post next week (posting via iPad is a chore, perhaps because of crappy hotel wifi), but just wanted to say that the first Ancestral Health symposium was amazing! I didn’t get to meet everyone I wanted to see, but met quite a few of my faves, learned a lot, and chatted with some really great folks.
Mad props to everyone involved!

Beth, what is your eventual goal? Your quest for knowledge about food and nutrition amazes me.
MrsS, I’m still working on that. First step is to get myself healthy, then after that, I want to help others. Like I said on my about page, the quote from Gladwell’s Tipping point — “A Maven is someone who wants to solve other people’s problems, generally by solving his own. ” — really resonates with me!
Because of my background in tech/comm and thanks to my location in Washington DC, I have a number of options that might work, including direct service (maybe coaching) or other indirect efforts like health education or policy.
Blog readers will know when I do … stay tuned :).
Glad you enjoyed (and learned)!
Looking forward to hearing about your impressions of AHS.
Happy to oblige ;). My two cents.
