Like Lessig

I’m declaring email bankruptcy:

If you’ve been waiting for internet legal visionary Lawrence Lessig to reply to your e-mail, forget about it.

In a script-driven note sent out last week, Lessig wrote: “Dear person who sent me a yet-unanswered e-mail, I apologize, but I am declaring e-mail bankruptcy.”

Unlike Lessig, I am not going thru the 10K messages in my Gmail inbox in order to send a nice email alerting folks.

In my many years of working, I’ve been thru these situations before, and I’ve nearly always found that people wind up in better places than they were. I hope to hear the same from all the good folks in our old group.

Liz makes me blush

What nice things to say!

But she’s right…I haven’t yet decided to invest the time in LinkedIn. So don’t take it personally if I’ve ignored your invite :).
