Okay, it’s taking me a while to catch up with my feeds, but I was tickled to see Mike Lee’s recent reposting of Duff Goldman as “Uncle Tosso” on his Flickr feed.
I’m a Food TV junkie, and just recently watched Duff compete on a cake challenge show featuring sports cakes. He flubbed on that show, but with that personality, it’s no surprise that they gave him his own show, Ace of Cakes. What a hoot!
Weight Maven is written by Beth Mazur. Beth believes that obesity is more symptom than cause and that the real problem is our Western diet -- especially sugar, refined grains, and industrial oils. Beth writes about nutrition, ancestral health & food policy. And cats!
I think Duff Goldman is one of the most talented, happy guys I’ve ever seen. He makes me smile and even laugh out loud – even when there’s no one with me. His cakes are inspired from out of this world and he’s no doubt, gonna be a household name in no time. He kind of crashed onto the scene and the Food Network was lucky enough to see the potential. I can’t wait for the next shows.
